Day Shift – March 9, 2023
23-002789- 300 BLK of Frawley Road- Child Found- The caller advised they found a two to three year old child by the roadway. Police were able to locate the child’s grandparent.
23-002790- 5800 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a young male acting suspicious on the property. Police spoke to the male. He left the property without incident.
23-002791- 1417 Saint Thomas Street- Warrant Service- A man was served with an East Ride warrant at this location. He was transported to Silverdale without incident.
23-002795- 4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Assault- The caller advised her juvenile daughter was assaulted while at school. The complainant declined prosecution for the assault after the Dean of Students mapped out a discipline plan to handle the issue internally.
23-002796- 1417 Saint Thomas Street- Missing Person/Drug Arrest- While investigating the call police spoke with a woman at the motel. While speaking with her police observed a cigarette pack on the sink with a needle exposed in plain view. Inside the pack police located 2.1 Grams of presumed methamphetamine and a needle commonly used for narcotics. She was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-002798- 728 Frawley Road – Missing Person/Drug arrest- Police were dispatched to the motel for a missing person complaint (23-002796). A man reported he did not know where his son was but had last known his location to be at the motel. He advised police his son had a girlfriend who lived at the Park Ridge Apartments. The complainant told police the girlfriend’s name and he informed police of there being a potential temporary protection order in place between her and his son. Police went to the Park Ridge Apartments and found the missing party in the apartment with the girlfriend. Police ran checks on both parties through dispatch to confirm the temporary protection order. It was confirmed to be active. The female consented to police checking for drugs inside the unit. Police found drug paraphernalia (foil, pipe, grinder), methamphetamine (1.3 grams), and fentanyl (1 blue pill). Police also observed an unknown yellow pill in the bedroom as well. She was arrested and transported to police headquarters to complete paperwork and then transported to Silverdale Detention Center. The missing party was released to his father’s care. Codes Enforcement was called to the apartment and after observing the inside of the apartment and condemned the unit.
23-002799- 700 BLK South Germantown Road- Vehicle Fire- Police responded with ERFD on a vehicle fire. On scene police stood by while fire handled the call.
7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A woman was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.
Night Shift- March 9, 2023
23-002819 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served an East Ridge warrant for Domestic Assault while at the Hamilton County Jail.
23-002812 – Exit 1 on Ramp SB – Accident with entrapment – Police responded to an accident between a Honda Civic and a BMW where the driver of the Honda was unable to exit the vehicle. All parties refused EMS. A crash report was completed.
23-002816- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/Evading – Officers observed a black Jeep Wrangler with no headlights traveling eastbound on Ringgold and attempted to make a traffic stop on the vehicle. The vehicle made an illegal U-turn and fled from officers at a high rate of speed westbound on Ringgold Road. After turning onto Prater Road the vehicle was last seen traveling west on Bible Road in Georgia and a BOLO was sent out to Catoosa County. ERPD was notified the possible identity driver of the vehicle to be from a previous incident in Georgia. After obtaining of photo of him officers were able to positively identify him as the driver and warrants are currently being sought.
23-002818- 3500 BLK Ringgold Road- SIA – While on patrol at the Cascades Hotel officers observed a black Jeep displaying a stolen license plate. Officers made contact with the occupants, a man and a woman, inside of a room. The man told police the black Jeep was his and that he had recently obtained the vehicle. Upon obtaining his information he was found to have an active warrant out of Hamilton County Criminal Court.
