Day Shift February 7, 2023
23-001093 -500 block Cedar Glen Cir – Supplemental – The caller advised his license plate that was supposed to be sent to him by the dealership finally arrived after he reported it lost the previous week. The plate was removed from NCIC.
23-001546 – 1500 block Maxwell Ave – Miscellaneous/Possible Mental Health Issues –A man, who resides in Ringgold, Ga, came to the United States Post Office and requested to speak to a federal official about issues with his mail and addresses in Georgia. While speaking with officers he would alternate between lucid thoughts and paranoid delusions. Police advised him that he would need to speak with the Georgia Post Office where he received mail.
23-001528 – 6600 block Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – A party was taken into custody on a Hamilton County arrest warrant following a traffic stop.
23-001534 – 1100 block State Line Rd – Vandalism – The resident reported his Honda was keyed while it was parked in the backyard of his residence overnight. Police observed heavy scratches all over the vehicle.
23-001539 – 5700 Roper Street– Domestic Assault – A man was arrested for Domestic Assault and Interference With Emergency Calls after he assaulted his ex-girlfriend and destroyed her iPhone when she attempted to call 911. She declined to prosecute for the Vandalism.
Night Shift February 7, 2023
23-001551 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A party was served with an Alias Capias (Driving on Suspended) warrant while at the Hamilton County Jail. ($5,000 Bond).
23-001562 – South Moore Road @ South Terrace – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop and made contact with a man who had confirmed warrants out of the county. He was transported to Silverdale. Police will be seeking warrants for Simple Possession and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-001559 – 182.2 I-24 West – MVC Entrapment – Police responded to this location regarding a hit and run. Upon arrival, police observed a black Nissan on its side with a female occupant trapped. ERFD responded and was able to cut the top of the vehicle off and extract the occupant. Both occupants were transported for medical care. The suspect vehicle was located half a mile from the crash scene unoccupied. Both vehicles were towed.
23-001552 – 1500 block Merrill Street – Misc. Complaint – A man called in stating his ex-boyfriend is unplugging his cameras while he is at work. Police called the suspect as he was at work, but he did not answer his phone. Police explained the RP’s rights inside of his residence.
