The 2022 USL League One Finalists Return to CHI Memorial Stadium
USL League One has announced that Chattanooga Red Wolves SC will open its 2023 season on Saturday, March 25 at home against USL League One opponent Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC.
2022 saw Chattanooga continuing its succession of improvement since the club’s inception, with the team making the deepest run in club history, reaching the USL League One Finals last November. The club also led USL League One in goals scored with 55 on the season and finished the year with a 14-7-12 record.
New Head Coach Ziggy Korytoski is eager to helm the squad in his first game at CHI Memorial Stadium.
“We’re looking forward to introducing the 2023 Red Wolves at CHI Memorial Stadium for our home opener on March 25,” said Korytoski. “I’ve heard all about how electric CHI Memorial Stadium is on match days, I’m excited to be a part of it. Expecting to have an incredible atmosphere, and a hard working team that represents this great community on the national stage. Together we will set the tone for what will become the most difficult place to play in the country.”
The Red Wolves broke their all time attendance records multiple times throughout the 2022 season including their final regular season home matches which featured over 3,000 fans in the stands. The clubs also set the All-Time USL League One traveling fan record at last November’s USL League One Final.
The rest of the 2023 season schedule will be released at a later date. Fans should stay tuned for more player updates in the coming days and weeks. 2023 Season Tickets are now for sale at chattanoogaredwolves-sc.com
