Day Shift December 31, 2022
22-017678 – 3725 Fountain Ave – Stolen Vehicle Recovery – Chattanooga Police alerted East Ridge officers a stolen Volkswagen Atlas may be in our jurisdiction. The vehicle was located backed into a parking place at 3725 Fountain Ave.
22-017679 – 400 S Moore – Assist Other – Officer encountered a subject dancing and acting erratic on the Moore Road overpass. As police observed the individual he became irate, charged a patrol vehicle and became extremely disorderly. Chattanooga Police arrived and took him into custody.
22-017682 – 915 S Seminole– CPR In Progress – Police responded with Fire and EMS personnel to a CPR in progress. The party was found unresponsive. Several doses on Narcan were administered by medical responders and he was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
22-017685 – 1417 St Thomas St – Disorder – Staff requested assistance from police after a patron declined to leave the room he rented. Motel staff did not agree with his choices and requested he leave.
22-017691 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Suspicious Person/Arrest – Officers responded to a report of a male party laying on a picnic table acting strange. David Goode was located and found to have warrants through Hamilton County for burglary and possession of Methamphetamine. He was transported to Silverdale without incident.
22-017682- 915 S. Seminole Dr- Overdose – Police were dispatched to this location regarding a drug overdose. EMS administered multiple doses of Narcan prior to transport.
22-017687- 100 BLK Bales Ave- Suspicious Activity – Police responded to this location due to suspicious activity. The RP stated when he came by to check the property, he discovered an unknown person had trimmed the bushes, installed a door inside the home, carried out some trash, and placed some boxes of clothes downstairs. He said he didn’t know if he had a squatter or not. He stated the home had been vacant for several years and was in the process of being remodeled. He stated he and his mother owned the home. He stated none of the other family members would have anything to do with the home or working on it. He declined to file a report but wanted police to keep a watch on the property to locate the “squatter.”
22-017701- 100 BLK Bales Ave.- Fraud – Police returned to this address after the resident stated she arrived to find her stuff set outside and the locks changed on the door. She stated she had a lease to own contract with the owner. She showed police a contract with owner information on it. Police contacted the original reporting party(#22-017687) to advise him of being in contact with someone at the property and advise him what was stated. He stated that his mother had not signed any contracts on the home and provided police with her contact information. Police spoke with her and she denied the contract. The resident stated she had found the home through a Craigslist ad late November and made arrangements with who she was led to believe was the owner. The phone number that was provided now goes to a airplane ticket counter.
Night Shift December 31, 2022-January 1, 2023
22-017696 – 950 Spring Creek Road – Narcotics Violation – A concerned resident reported building 4 consistently smelled strongly of marijuana. Police did detect a heavy marijuana smell from inside the building. Police were directed to the apartment of the possible culprits.
22-017699 – 6000 BLK Wentworth Ave – Domestic Disorder – Police were called to the above address regarding a very intoxicated party who was causing a disturbance and breaking items inside the home. Once on scene it was determined that no assault took place. He agreed to be transported to a nearby neighbor’s house to sober up.
22-017700 – 1024 Greenslake Road – Domestic Assault – Erwin Vanegas was arrested for Domestic Assault following an argument.
22-017715 – 201 Eads Street Apt – Domestic Disorder – The RP reported her child’s father Cordairus Smith showed up unannounced and was trying to enter her apartment against her wishes. Police encountered Mr. Smith in the parking lot and took him into custody for Violation of Order of Protection.
No Number Assigned – Ringgold Road @ Wimberly Lane – Disorder – Police observed a male and female yelling at each other. After making contact, both parties calmed down and left the scene.
No Number Assigned – 3209 Castle Avenue – Assist Other Agency – CPD requested we check this address for the owner of a vehicle that was left crashed at the roundabout on Westside Drive. Police were unable to get anyone to the door.
23-000011 – 730 Germantown Circle – Vandalism – Police responded to this address regarding a burglary. Upon arrival Police discovered the glass sliding door shattered. Nothing appeared to be missing from the apartment and it does not appear anyone went inside. Maintenance was contacted and advised they were on the way.
22-017704 – 4209 Ringgold Road – Disorder – While officers were conducting routine patrols in the 4200 Block of Ringgold Rd. Officers heard people arguing loudly in the parking lot of the Jack’s restaurant. Upon arrival officers discovered a couple in a disorder. The couple stated the dispute was over lost keys but no physical alterations occurred. The two ultimately agreed to separate for the evening.
23-000004 – 941 Spring Creek Rd – Domestic assault/ arrest – Police were called here regarding an assault. Upon arrival police learned a man assaulted his girlfriend, Jessica Perry. Police are seeking warrants for his arrest. Police learned Perry was carrying a handgun and she is a convicted felon. Perry was arrested for being a prohibited possessor.
22-07710 – 6406 Ringgold Road – Attempted Carjacking – Police arrested two juveniles, who attempted to enter an occupied vehicle while the vehicle awaited a red light. Both juveniles were wearing ski masks during this incident and both fled on foot when police entered the area. Officers pursued and captured both.
23-000013 – 1500 BLK Fruitland Drive – Drug Overdose / Warrant Service – Police responded here regarding a drug overdose. The patient was given Narcan twice by family members. The patient was treated by EMS but ultimately refused to be transported for further treatment. Steven Malkoske was on scene and found to have an arrest warrant through East Ridge. Malkoske was served his warrant.
22-017716 – 1400 Spring Creek Road – Arrest – Following a traffic stop the driver was taken into custody for driving without a license, financial responsibility, and expired registration.
23-000008 – 3500 Mimbro Lane – Arrest – Following a traffic stop, Feliciano Arias Cerrano, was taken into custody for Driving under the influence, financial responsibility, and driving without a license. Cerrano was transported to Silverdale without incident.
23-000003 – 900 BLK S. Crest Road – Shots Fired – Police were dispatched to the area for person(s) unknown shooting multiple guns. The reporting person pointed to said address as the place the shooting came from. The occupants did not come to the door when summoned.
22-017703 – 900 BLK Donaldson Road – Unconscious Person – RP called in stating his son was going in and out of consciousness. Police assisted until ERFD and EMS arrived on scene.
22-017713 – 4300 BLK Oakdale Ave – Well Being – Police and EMS were dispatched to this address to check on the resident. Neighbors are concerned for his living situation, which consisted of a broken water line into the house, mold on the ceilings, trash piled up and cockroaches inside. Codes were notified. The the water company was called and an APS report is on file.
23-000005 – 400 BLK Broughton Street – Noise Complaint – RP called in stating there was a large party two houses down from this address, police arrived on scene and encountered two people on the porch.
