Day Shift December 18
22-017155 – 700 BLK Stateline Rd – Suspicious Activity – Police were again dispatched to this location, in reference to a suspicious party lurking about the residence perimeter. The subject left prior to arrival, but a neighbor was able to record the license plate number. Police requested Catoosa County attempt to contact the driver of the vehicle and collect his information. Contact was made with the parties who advised they were longtime friends of the decedent. The parties were advised to stop coming to the residence.
22-017159 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Disorder Prevention – Police responded to this location in reference to two parties that do not reside in East Ridge, who requested police standby while they exchanged custody of a child. A party from Clarksville, TN stated she was on her way to pick up her child from her child’s father, who resided in Columbus, Ga. The female party claimed the male subject was driving under the influence of alcohol, however, when police spoke with the party, he did not present any signs of intoxication. Custody was exchanged and the parties went their separate ways.
22-017163 – 1600 BLK Sunray Dr – Disorder – Officers were called to this address by a party who had received a phone call from her daughter, who requested her to send help. On arrival, police spoke with the son of the caller who claimed it was a conversation between family members. Officers spoke with other residents on scene who denied knowledge of anything occurring at the residence. The suspected offending party advised he would leave the residence.
22-017153- 1521 Fruitland Ave.- Disorder- Police responded to a verbal disorder between three subjects. There are extensive ongoing issues between all the parties. It was decided that two were removing themselves from the residence and going to live with a family member.
Night Shift December 18-19
No Number Assigned – 1508 East Ridge Avenue – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to this location in reference to three juveniles checking mailboxes. On scene nothing was located.
22-017167 – 4401 Ringgold Road – Forgery – Police took this report at the Mack’s Highway Market. The suspect attempted to cash a fraudulent check, but not before providing her Tennessee driver’s license. Warrants are being sought for her arrest.
22-017170 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Misc. Info – Police were called here regarding an auto theft. The reporting party stated her adult son had stolen her vehicle but did not wish to prosecute if her son was willing to give her the keys back. Officers made contact with the RP’s. He gave officers the key to the vehicle and arrangements were made on behalf of the RP to take possession of the vehicle. No charges were filed.
22-017173 – 1700BLK East Ridge Avenue – Disorder – Reporting party called in stating ten plus kids were roaming the neighborhood being loud. She stated the kids knocked over some Christmas decorations and cursed her. Police spoke to the kids, who mostly stay on Tombras Avenue. They were advised to stay off people’s property and go home.
No Number Assigned – 4222 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Following a traffic stop at this location, Miranda Burks was taken into custody for Hamilton County warrants.
