Day Shift December 11
22-016858- 1600 BLK Keeble- Disorder- Initially a welfare check, officers arrived and found three adults screaming and yelling at each other. Before police arrived, the women entered the apartment and claimed a physical altercation broke out. Tensions were high as police tried to defuse the situation. The custodial issue was resolved without arrest.
No number- Ringgold RD &75- Suspicious Person- A party was seen panhandling at this location. After being told to move on, he was at a nearby laundromat creating a disturbance. Subject is possibly a mental health consumer.
22-016861– 1800 BLK Glen Oaks Terrace- Property damage/Vandalism- Property owner called to make a report of a broken fence after it appeared a vehicle left the roadway overnight behind his home and damaged the rear fence of his home.
22-016856- I-75 Northbound- Motor Vehicle Crash- Police responded to a motor vehicle crash between a SUV and tractor trailer. The SUV became fully engulfed which in turn caught the trailer on fire.
22-016862- 4011 Ringgold Rd- Vehicle Fire- Police responded to this location after a passerby called to report the trailer from the above listed accident had reignited. Police stood by while ERFD extinguished the flames.
Night Shift December 11-12
22-016880- 6514 Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop- While on patrol, officers observed a Chevy Trailblazer parked on the side of the Mapco Gas Station. Upon running the registration, it was found to be stolen. Following a traffic stop on the vehicle, Ms. Jenny Floyd was taken into custody for theft of property, simple possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
22-016887- 4339 Ringgold Road- Domestic Assault- Officers responded to the Exxon station at this address regarding a domestic assault that occurred inside of a vehicle. Warrants are being sought.
22-016888- 1460 Mack Smith Road, Cracker Barrel- Public Intoxication- Thomas Day was arrested for Public Intoxication after being reported loitering on the front porch of the restaurant.
