Day Shift December 5
22-016587- 5321 Spriggs Street- Harassment- The reporting party advised she is being harassed on a texting app. She advised yesterday when she opened the app, she had a message from an unknown party stating, “send $3,000 or you will be killed.” The victim advised she contacted a previous person she had talked to via the app. He was able to confirm that his ex-wife was messaging her. She was only able to provide police with the suspect’s name and phone number.
22-016589- 500 BLK of Frawley Road- Traffic Stop/Arrest- While on patrol police observed a silver Mustang traveling at a high rate of speed south in the 500 block of Frawley Road. Police conducted a traffic stop in the 6700 block of Ringgold Road. When police contacted the driver of the vehicle police observed the strong odor of Marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Police identified the driver as Jacques Mack. During a search of the vehicle police located a SCKY 9MM Handgun in the center console, a bag with 23.7 grams of marijuana, and a second bag containing 18.7 Grams of marijuana. Mack was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to sell, unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His vehicle was towed.
22-016590- 3623 Fountain Avenue- Unknown 911- Dispatch advised of a phase two 911 hang up call at the apartment. On scene police spoke with the occupant. She advised no one called 911. There were no emergencies observed.
22-016591- 10 BLK Lynncrest Drive- Theft- Police spoke with the caller regarding a theft which occurred between 12/4/22 at 6:10 PM and 12/5/22 at 05:40 AM. The victim noted he received a notification the package was delivered on 12/4/22 around 6:10 PM. When he went to check the mailbox this morning around 5:40 AM the package was gone. It was noted the neighborhood watch page saw a white sedan driving around the neighborhood last night checking mailboxes. No additional suspect information is available at this time.
22-016593- 500 BLK South Moore Road- Suspicious Person/FI/Criminal Trespass Warning- The caller advised of a suspicious male asking strange questions about the school. On scene police spoke with him on the lot of the school. OLPH employees advised the party made an appointment to walk through the school. Employees stated the party had previously stated he had been baptized at this location and had told employees that he wanted to terrorize the school. The staff advised he was adamant about wanting to see where the children were at. The party was issued a criminal trespass warning and left the property.
22-016594- 3100 BLK Bimini Place- Auto Theft- The caller noted sometime overnight his 2006 Ford Taurus was taken from the area of 3100 BLK Bimini Place. Records indicated the Ford was involved in a traffic crash overnight in East Ridge and towed.
22-016599- 1600 BLK Rugby Place- Theft- Police spoke with the complainant regarding a theft from a mailbox that occurred on 12/1/22 around 05:40 hours. The resident noted his Ring doorbell camera was turned on when a sensor on his mailbox was triggered after a white vehicle, possibly a Crossover, pulled up to his mailbox. The passenger got out and took an outgoing bill from the mailbox. The bill was being paid by a personal check. He was made aware to let his bank know the account had been compromised. No further suspect information is available at this time. Video was emailed to police.
22-016601- 6200 BLK Ringgold Road- Harassment- Police spoke with the complainant regarding harassment. She advised a former employee had violated HIPPA and posted clients’ addresses on social media.
22-016604- 4100 block Eastway Terrace- Unconscious Person- Police responded with EMS on a male unconscious. On scene EMS handled the call. The patient was transported to the hospital.
22-016605- 3623 Fountain Avenue- Vehicle Burglary- The victim advised on 12/4/22 between 02:00 and 06:00 hours an unknown suspect entered his unlocked Nissan.
Night Shift December 5-6
22-016616- 1100 BLK Mcbrien Road- Theft- The victim called to report the theft of a wheelchair. He advised he had moved a wheelchair from inside of his home to the carport the day before Thanksgiving.
22-016621- 3657 Ringgold Road- Narcotics Violation- Officers were called to the Cascades Motel to backup EMS at room 42. On scene police made contact with the man who appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic and acting paranoid. A piece of a meth pipe was observed in plain view inside of the room along with the other half of the meth pipe being located on his person. The party was transported to hospital by EMS and a warrant was taken out for possession of drug paraphernalia.
22-016630- 4214 Ringgold Road- Disorder- While on patrol, officers witnessed a vehicle abruptly turn into the police department with another vehicle turn in closely behind it. The driver of the first vehicle quickly exited her vehicle and approached officers stating the female driver of the other vehicle is following her. The other female exited her vehicle began taking photos/video of her. The disorder was discovered to be related to a custody case. The pursuing party was warned against her behavior.
22-016631- 730 Germantown Cir-Theft- Officers responded to this location after the victim reported that her daughter vandalized her vehicle.
