Day Shift December 2, 2022
22-016462- 1600 BLK Sun Ray Dr- Check Well-Being-East Ridge Middle School SSO requested police to check the well-being of a student that has not returned to school after he was sent home due to disruptive behavior. Police spoke with the child, who was not in distress. He said he was sick.
22-016465- 1500 BLK McBrien Rd- Deceptive Practice- The complainant reported someone stole her debit card information and made multiple purchases at Sam’s Club. There is no suspect information at this time.
3619 Ringgold Rd. – Property 22-016460- 17 Savio wms5000 Sump Pumps were located beside a building and placed into property.
22-016458 – 500 BLK S. Moore Rd – Suspicious Person – Campus security reported an unknown male wearing a black jacket with white lettering and white shoes on the property at approximately 0900hrs. According to the caller, the subject was talking about Tennessee legalizing marijuana and then later spoke about wanting to tour the campus, so he could “terrorize” the students. It’s believed this subject was one of the area homeless. However, due to previous national events involving violence in schools, the caller wanted the incident reported. Police checked the area but were not able to locate the party.
22-016468 – 4405 Ringgold Rd – Check the Well-being – A concerned citizen reported a male and female with two small children standing at the corner of McBrien Rd and Ringgold Rd with a sign requesting help. Upon making contact with the parties, it was found they were from Romania and the male was looking for work. Police referred him to the Community Kitchen as a possible source for assistance.
22-016473 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Deceptive Practice – The caller advised she was possibly the victim of a phone scam after she contacted Metro PCS by dialing 6-1-1 and later had a withdrawal from that company on her bank account. Due to this occurring in Chattanooga and where the caller resided, she was referred to CPD.
Night Shift December 2-3, 2022
22-016490 – Spring Creek Road @ Oakdale Avenue – Crash / Arrest – Brian Robert Johnson was arrested for DUI after a crash at this location. Johnson left the roadway striking an EPB power pole splitting the pole in half. EPB responded to the scene.
22-016491 – 3400 BLK Frawley Street – Suspicious Person – Reporting party called in stating she has an order of protection against a party and believed he drove by her house. Police searched the area but he was not found. Police located an active warrant for violating an order of protection.
22-016481-3500 BLK Connelly Ln.- Ringgold Rd – Auto Theft – Reporting party stated his Land Rover was stolen. His daughter lived at the address but moved out. When she went to retrieve the vehicle, it was gone. Vehicle was entered into NCIC.
22-016488 – 3636 Ringgold Rd – FI – Police responded to this location after an employee of Food City noticed a male getting gas was from a BOLO out of Catoosa County. Police arrived on scene and made contact with the male who is a suspect for many fraud cases with Food City in Georgia. Police spoke to Catoosa Detectives and they requested his information and for the party to be released.
22-016486- 1000 BLK Mchann Drive- Suspicious Person – Police were dispatched to this location regarding a suspicious party. The reporting party called and reported seeing people going in and out of the empty home across the street. Everything appears to be secure at 1002.
22-014222 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – David Severs was arrested on East Ridge Warrants while he was in custody at Silverdale Detention Center.
22-016480 – 5000 BLK S Terrace – Assist EMS – Police assisted EMS with an unconscious person at this location.
