November 8 Police Briefs

Day Shift November 7, 2022

22-015391- 635 Camp Jordan Parkway- Unattended Child-The caller advised two males and a female were not watching a toddler in their care and allowed the child to walk into the travel lane of the parking lot. On scene the parties and the child had already left the scene traveling north toward the park. Police checked the area with nothing located.

Night Shift November 7-8, 2022

22-015415- 5700 Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop- Police contacted Kelly Shved and a male companion after they rode their bicycles across Ringgold Road with no regard for oncoming traffic. Shved was found to have an active sessions warrant. She was transported to the jail.

22-015416- 4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Back EMS- A call was received advising there was a male subject in the business having a medical emergency. The caller advised the subject mentioned he had been shot. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the subject. He had not been shot but appeared to be on illegal narcotics. He stated he wanted to be seen by medical personnel. Medical arrived on scene and transported him to Parkridge East for medical attention.

22-015418- 3200 Ringgold Road- Felony Evading- Police attempted a traffic stop on silver Nissan Rouge. The vehicle fled west on Ringgold Road and into Chattanooga. Police are working to identify the driver so he can be charged.

22-015421- 728 Frawley Road- Suspicious Vehicle- Police responded to the Parkridge Apartments after a concerned citizen reported observing a silver truck parked at the rear of the complex and possible selling narcotics. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

22-015423- 1400 BLK N. Smith Street- Suicide Threats- Police were called to this location after a male subject was having a mental breakdown and was possibly suicidal. Officers spoke with the reporting party along with the male subject in question. The male subject advised he wished to be taken to his mother’s residence in Chattanooga and was not having suicidal thoughts.

22-015431- Interstate 75 North Bound- Back Up Other Agency- Officers responded to reports of a disorder between a male and female subject on the shoulder of interstate 75 NB. Upon arrival the disorder was observed to be occurring in Georgia. Officers stood by while Catoosa County responded to handle the incident.

22-015433- Donaldson Road- Traffic Stop-Arrest-Drugs- Police conducted a traffic stop on a U-Haul. During the stop driver, Leighton Dunn, was found to be in possession of meth for resale and placed under arrest.
