Dayshift October 24, 2022
22-014707- 4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Alarm- Police responded to the business. On scene the building appeared secure.
22-014708- 6700 BLK Jordan Run- Improperly Parked Auto- The caller advised a travel camper was parked on the roadway causing a hazard. On scene police spoke with the owner. They advised the camper would be moved today.
No number assigned- 183 I-24 West- Car Fire- Police responded with Fire. On scene police stood by while Fire handled the call.
22-014718- 3500 BLK Ringgold Road- Unknown Medical/Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a female laying in the parking lot. She was taken into protective custody and transported to Parkridge East for a mental evaluation.
22-014719- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Counterfeit Money- The caller advised she found a counterfeit 100.00 bill. Police responded and confiscated the bill.
22-014721- 500 BLK Wando Drive- Wellbeing Check- The caller requested police check on the elderly resident. On scene the resident advised she was ok.
22-014726- 3725 Fountain Avenue- Disorder Prevention- The caller advised people were taking things from the apartment. On scene police stood by and prevented any potential disorder.
22-014727- 4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Activity- The caller advised school children were playing on the handicap scooter. On scene the children were not located. The scooter was returned to the store.
22-14732- Tombras Avenue @ Bennett Road- Fight- The caller advised two males were fighting in the area. On scene no fight was located. Several parties ran from the scene as police arrived. The juveniles were not located.
Nightshift October 24-25, 2022
22-014747 – 5300 BLK Oakdale Ave – Suspicious Vehicle – Police responded to a reported suspicious vehicle parked in the roadway at this address. Police made contact with the driver who stated he would move the vehicle shortly. A field interview was completed.
22-014753 – 941 Spring Creek Rd – Mental Health Call – A party called police for assistance getting to Joe Johnson after he sought treatment for hallucinations at Parkridge East and staff did not give him the treatment he desired. He was given a ride to Joe Johnson.
22-014740 – 1600 BLK Keeble St – Unconscious person- Police were dispatched along with Fire and EMS due to an 8 month old being unconscious. Upon police arrival, the child was conscious but having trouble breathing. Officers stood by while EMS and Fire assisted the child.
22-014749- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Drug Overdose- Police responded to and found a male unconscious. EMS responded and transported him to hospital where he is currently recovering.
22-014736- 941 Spring Creek Rd- Fugitive- A subject fled from the hospital. The female has a valid warrant for 2nd degree murder. Police searched the area but did not locate. On Tuesday afternoon, Chief Clint Uselton said the woman was located and taken into custody without incident.
