22-013734– 6700 Ringgold Rd- Traffic Crash/Aggravated Assault
Traffic crash resulting in aggravated assault. The suspect struck the victim intentionally with a vehicle. The victim chased suspect to Highway 58 where Chattanooga Police intervened. The suspect was transported via EMS. Warrants taken on the suspect.
22-013729-Mack Smith Road- Auto Theft-
Caller stated one of his employees has been missing since 10/01/2022 @1400 hours along with a work truck. Caller requested the vehicle be listed as stolen.
22-013728– Ringgold Rd– Suspicious Person/Criminal Trespass –
Suspect was issued a criminal trespass at a business after being observed loitering around the rear of the business.
22-013731– Court Dr– Property Damage–
The resident at this location advised some of the children at East Ridge Elementary are throwing rocks on his property during their recess. Police spoke to the School Security Officer, who advised he will ask the staff to address this during morning announcements.
No Number Assigned- Gleason Drive – Theft From Vehicle –
While patrolling this area due to repetitive recent thefts, the victim from a Theft From Vehicle that occurred over the weekend flagged down police. She stated that a second vehicle had its battery stolen, but the victim did not contact police. She stated she thought she heard the thefts occurring around 0130 hours and requested an extra patrol for this location during night time hours.
22-013764 – Frawley Road– Shots Fired-
Police responded to the apartments after residents stated they heard a single gun shot. Police determined there to be an accidental discharge of a firearm in the 600 building of the apartment complex. The firearm was secured, and police spoke with the resident who advised he was cleaning his firearm when it accidentally discharged. A casing was located in the apartment along with a bullet hole in the floor of the apartment.
