Sept. 29 Day Shift
22-0135551- Burns Ave– Deceptive Practice– The bookkeeper reported one of the checks they mailed was intercepted by a party who altered the amount and made it payable to himself. The subject changed the amount of the check from $3,000 to $10,000 and made himself as the payee with his address and bank account information on the check. The caller advised the bank found this suspicious and notified them of the fraudulent check. A warrant will be sought.
20-13553-Ringgold Rd- Disorder- Officers responded after the suspect and another male subject became involved in a disorder. The suspect was trespassed from the Gas Station per the request of staff at the business.
22-013554-Stateline Rd- Extortion- The complainant called police after an unknown male subject was threatening to send his friends and family personal pictures. He advised both parties met on a social app. The only information provided to officers was the suspects phone number and an alias of “Mark.”
22-013569- Esterbrook Dr- Domestic Disorder- Reporting party called police after a dispute with a male subject. Upon speaking with both parties, it was determined that the altercation was verbal only. The male was advised it was in his best interests to stay in his room if he was to drink alcohol in excess.
Night Shift
22-013580 – St. Thomas Street. – Disorder Prevention – A female party requested Police assistance to gather her belongings from a room where her ex-boyfriend lives. Police stood by while she gathered her belongings and residents of two rooms were advised to vacate the rooms by 11:00 am on the following morning per hotel staff.
