Police Briefs for Sept. 28

September 27 Day Shift

22-013429- South Lovell Avenue- Disorder- The caller advised a female in a black truck was in the street “running her mouth.” On scene police spoke with the caller. The female had already left the area.

22-013431- Eads Street- AOA- DCS requested police check this address for a juvenile that had escaped state’s custody. On scene police located the juvenile and found she had a runaway attachment. She was transported to JDU.

22-013435- Mack Smith Road- Burglary Attempt- The caller advised an unknown suspect attempted to enter the business. Upon arrival police met with the reporting party who advised the business was closed on 9/26/22 around 2030 hours. When he arrived this morning around 0730 hours to open the business he realized the door had been kicked close to the locking mechanism in what looked like an attempted burglary. No entry was made into the building, but the locking mechanism and door was damaged.

22-013441- Camp Jordan Parkway- Vandalism- The caller advised an unknown suspect damaged a picnic table on the property sometime between 9-23 at 1600 and 9-27 at 1100. The estimated damage to the table is approximately $200.

22-013442- McBrien Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a male on the lot looking into cars. On scene police encountered the subject. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.

22-013459- Springvale Road @ Key West Avenue- Suspicious Activity- The caller advised a small gray car and a white female have been parked at the park for several days. On scene the gray car was gone but an unoccupied black truck was there. No one was located and the truck was checked for stolen status.

NIGHT SHIFT

22-013471- Ringgold Road– Arrest-Drugs – Melissa Miller and Julianna Gore were arrested after a traffic stop for possession of schedule II for resale and possession of Schedule II. Both parties were transported to Silverdale Detention Center.

22-01347 – 22-013478 – Shirl Jo Lane – Auto Burglary and Fraud – The victim called officers after his Cash App Card was used at the Mapco Gas Station. He told officers his vehicle had been broken into the previous night and his wallet had been stolen. Police spoke with employees at the Mapco who described the suspects as a male and female. Both subjects were observed to be regulars at the Mapco as stated by one of the clerks.

22-013484 – Mack Smith Road – Missing Endangered – Police were called about a missing juvenile. Police met with the mother who advised her 8 years old daughter was missing. Police found said daughter in a relative’s hotel room asleep. Misc. report on file.

22-013488- Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Joshua Goforth (AKA Joseph Goforth) was served with outstanding East Ridge warrants at the Hamilton County jail.
