Dear Citizens of East Ridge,

Please spare me a moment of your time to tell you about a candidate running for mayor.

On one very hot day day in late August, my mother and daddy came home with my baby brother! I had been waiting nine months for his arrival. Since I was almost eight years old, I figured I’d do my very best to take good care of him.

Then, one day I looked up and I saw a six-foot-two-inch responsible man.

There are many things I deeply admire about my brother. For instance, if I have a problem the first thing he does is listen. Not many people take the time to actually hear you out. His advice has always been in my best interest. 

Soon it will be time for you to vote. I’m asking you to cast your ballot for Dick Cook. He will have your best interests at heart, always. He will listen to you earnestly and honestly.

East Ridge is capable of much more and so are you!
