The Red Wolves downed Forward Madison, 5-2, Saturday in Wisconsin in USL League One play.
The Red Wolves (10-9-6) scored three times in the first 30 minutes to take a 4-1 lead at the half. Those goals were courtesy of Alex Tejera, Nico Cardona, Daniel Navarro, and Rey Ortiz.
Juan Galindrez put his league-leading 21st goal in the net late in the second half.
The scoring frenzy marked the third time this season the R’ Wolves have put five goals on the board. The team is now fourth in league standings, trailing Richmond, Omaha, and Greenville. Five matches are left in the season.
The Red Wolves will come back home to CHI Memorial Stadium next Saturday night where they will take on Richmond. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
