The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.
September 7 Day Shift
22-012481- 323 Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Vehicle-
The caller advised a female in a red minivan was sleeping in the park. On scene the female was advised to leave. Per park staff she has been told several times not to be sleeping in the park.
22-012482- 1417 Saint Thomas Street- Shooting-
The caller advised of a shooting victim at Parkridge East. On scene police spoke with a male subject. He was observed to have a gunshot wound to his lower right leg. He advised police he had been cleaning a firearm at friends’ apartment at an unknown address on Saint Thomas Street when the firearm discharged one round into his leg. CID was contacted and responded. After further investigation police are seeking warrants for his arrest on two counts of felony reckless endangerment, and unlawful possession of a firearm. All property and evidence were documented and placed into property and evidence at the property and evidence room.
22-012485- 6725 Ringgold Road- Alarm-
Police responded to check the business. On scene the alarm was found to be accidental.
22-012487- 1052 Floyd Drive- Disorder-
The caller advised her neighbor was standing in the street yelling at her. On scene police spoke with all involved and advised them to leave each other alone.
22-012488- 482 McBrien Road- FI-
Management of TNT Fireworks discovered a woman camped at the exit doors of the business. On scene the woman was notified by police that she could not stay and to remove her belongings. Management did not want to trespass her at the time of this report after police advised on the procedure. The woman gathered her belongings and moved them from the front of the business. Police advised the management to contact them if any further assistance was needed.

Night Shift
3920 Ringgold Rd / Lost Child:
A child was located at this location. The mother was contacted and the child was returned home. (22-012507)
4145 Ringgold Rd / Traffic stop:
A stop was conducted at this location. During the stop the driver, Austyn Gore, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. (22-12520)
1410 Mack Smith Road / Disorder:
Officers responded to a disorder at the Budgetel Inn after a male subject advised his girlfriend was not leaving him alone. On scene officers observed that both parties were listed for the room. Officers advised the male subject it was a civil matter due to the female being listed on the apartment. (22-012522)
E 29th St & 12th Ave / Felony Evading:
Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation observed in the 3200 block of Ringgold Rd. The driver, Lucas Harris, produced a small amount of marijuana during the stop. When police asked Harris to exit the vehicle, he fled at a high rate of speed on 12th Ave. Warrants will be sought against Harris for felony evading arrest, reckless endangerment, simple possession of marijuana, and traffic offenses. 7609 Standifer Gap Rd / Warrant Service:
Meckeal Gates was booked with East Ridge warrants for Felony Evading and Resisting Arrest while at Hamilton County Jail. (21-014946)
2000 E. 23rd St / Warrant Service:
Police took Mercy Johnson into custody for an East Ridge warrant for Alias Capias (Driving on Suspended) in Chattanooga after Chattanooga Police made contact with her on a traffic stop. (22-012517)
Belvoir Ave at South Terrace / Narcotics:
David Graham and a female party were issued misdemeanor citations for Simple Possession of Methamphetamine following a traffic stop. Graham was also taken into custody for outstanding East Ridge and Collegedale warrants. (22-012523)
