I wrote the editor to this great online paper to express how atrocious it was to have children staring at liquor bottles while out at recess. Also, how repulsive it was to have a liquor store sign literally 10 yards from the entrance to an elementary school. 

I couldn’t say if my letter brought it to the city’s attention, or if they would have been on the case anyways… but either way, the right move has been made. The city quickly moved to remove the sign. The entrance still remains, but the LED lights displaying liquor at least do not shine now in the faces of children at school. I give my props to the city for acting quickly on this problem. Thank you.
